EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana baseball Head Coach Tracy Archuleta was named the 2010 Diamond/American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Coach of the Year for the NCAA Division II on Wednesday.

NEW YORK - The Great Lakes Valley Conference had three baseball players selected during the 2010 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on June 7-9. Northern Kentucky's Jarrett Casey and Dave Middendorf and Bellarmine's Patrick Brady were each picked by a MLB club.

CARY, NC - The ninth-ranked University of Southern Indiana baseball team won the school's first NCAA Division II Baseball Championship on Saturday afternoon with a 6-4 win over top-ranked UC-San Diego in Cary, N.C. The Eagles are the first GLVC team and first school in Indiana to claim a baseball crown.
