ST. LOUIS - University of Missouri-St. Louis Director of Athletics Lori Flanagan has named Brian Levin as the Tritons’ head softball coach. Levin arrives on the UMSL campus from Murray State University and replaces Chuck Sosnowski, who resigned last month after five years at the helm of the program.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Chantiel Wilson, who led Abilene Christian to four NCAA-II Tournament appearances in seven years, has been named the new head softball coach at Drury University.

ASHLAND, Ohio - With a 4-1 loss to host Ashland on Sunday in the NCAA Midwest Region 2 championship game, the Lewis softball team was the last GLVC team to be bounced from the 2010 NCAA Softball Championships.

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division II Softball Committee has selected 64 teams to compete in the 2010 NCAA Division II Softball Championship and four GLVC teams have been honored with a bid. Lewis, Indianapolis, Northern Kentucky and Quincy will be competing on May 14-16 for a regional crown.
