Thompson, Sult Lead SJC at Mike Lints Alumni Open

COMPLETE RESULTS

ALLENDALE, Mich. - Sophomore Kaleb Thompson finished second in both the weight throw and shot put to lhelp ead the Saint Joseph's men's track and field team at the Mike Lints Alumni Open hosted by Grand Valley State on Friday in Allendale, Mich.

Thompson posted a mare of 15.98 in the weight throw and finished the shot put with a throw of 16.47.

In addition to Thompson's efforts, strong performances were turned in by freshmen Joseph Tooks and Tyler Sult, junior Andre Wadley and senior Tadd Hettinger.

Sult placed first in the 60 meteter dash and in the 200 meter dash by posting times of 6.98 and 22.42, respectively. He also finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.38 meters.

Wadley placed fourth in the 60 meters with a time of 7.02, while Hettinger finished third in teh 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.46.

Tooks finished second in the triple jumpe with a mark of 13.40 meters.

Saint Joseph's will return to action at the UW-Parkside Rangers Open on Friday.
