LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine University’s Nick Becht shot a 10-over par 154 (77, 77) to finish in second place, one shot behind medalist Sam Zirdheld (76, 77) 153 from Morehead State, in the Bellarmine Intercollegiate Tournament at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club on March 29-30.
Doug Wilkinson fired two rounds under 80, (79, 79) 158, to finish in solo fifth while teammate James Chaney shot a (80, 81) 161 to finish in sixth. Adam Mallory and Andrew Mucci also participated shooting 169 and 175 for the two rounds of play, respectively.
The Knights tee it up again this weekend, April 2-3 for the Midwest Regional Spring Invitational # 1 at Cherry Blossom Golf Club in Georgetown, Ky.
