UIndy's Fair Named GLVC Golfer of the Month of April
INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis senior Seth Fair (Brownsburg, Ind./Brownsburg) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Golfer of the Month for April. Fair posted three top-ten finishes during the month, including a win at The Jewell on Apr. 2-3.
On the month, Fair posted a 71.2 scoring average in three events. He posted three rounds under par including a five-under-par effort in the first round at The Jewell.
Fair coupled his first-round 67 at The Jewell with a 69 in the second round to finish the event held at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown, Ky. eight-under par.
He returned on Apr. 11-12 to post a 7th-place finish at the Great Lakes Regional held at Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, Ind.
Fair capped the month by earning All-GLVC honors at the league’s championship event held at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind. He finished two-over-par at the GLVC Championship by posting a 70-72-76--218 and earned third place.
His efforts during the month helped UIndy to a win at Cherry Blossom, a third-place finish at Purgatory and a second-place finish at Otter Creek.
Fair most recently earned an individual spot in the NCAA Division II National Championship by finishing in a tie for fourth at The Territory Golf Course in Duncan, Okla.
Other top performers in the GLVC for the month of April included Missouri-St. Louis’ Matt Rau, Northern Kentucky’s Danny Lewis and Rockhurst’s Clarke Fry.
