INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) will host “GLVC Football Kickoff 2013” in St. Louis, Mo., on Wednesday, July 31, following a successful inaugural event last year. This season’s event, which will serve both the league’s media members and passionate fans through several social media outlets, will once again take place at the Millennium Student Center on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT.
The head coach and one student-athlete from each of the eight GLVC football institutions will be on hand to help promote the conference’s second season, which this year will include the GLVC’s newest member, Truman State University.

Gregg Nesbitt, two fresh faces will also be pacing the GLVC sidelines this season. McKendree University will be led by
Mike Babcock, after he spent the last five years as an assistant coach at Colorado State University-Pueblo, one of the top NCAA Division II programs in the country. Missouri S&T will be coached by first-year mentor
Tyler Fenwick, who served as the offensive coordinator at Missouri Western State University the past six seasons.
Indianapolis head coach
Bob Bartolomeo, who in his third year guided the Greyhounds to the first-ever GLVC Championship and an NCAA Division II Playoff appearance and first-round win, will be also be joined by his colleagues from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Quincy University, Saint Joseph’s College, and William Jewell College.
Cory Sanders begins his third campaign in Rensselaer after guiding the Pumas to a 6-5 record last year, including a 5-4 mark in conference play to tie for third.
Tom Pajic is back at Quincy for his second year following a 3-8 overall record and a 3-5 finish in the GLVC. At William Jewell,
Jerod Kruse is set to open his fourth season after turning in a 2-9 (1-7) campaign in 2012.
Brent Holsclaw, who paced the Panthers to a 2-9 record and 0-8 mark in GLVC action last year, returns for his ninth season at Kentucky Wesleyan, which will be competing in the conference as an associate member in 2013.
On July 17, the GLVC will release its list of player attendees, and launch the official GLVC Football Kickoff website as well as the fan-interactive schedule on July 24.
