In what was an exciting game from start to finish that saw Southern Indiana gain the lead on four separate occasions, including its largest margin of eight points in the first quarter, No. 4 Bellarmine turned on the gas in the final few minutes to come away with the 88-83 road win. USI's Tanner Marcum scored 30 points to lead all scorers, while five Knights scored in double digits for a balanced effort that resulted in a 7-0 league record and sole possession of first place in the East Division. Other winners around the GLVC included Illinois Springfield's 59-53 road win at McKendree, led by Syerra Cunningham's 19 points and recording-breaking 16 rebounds that put her at the top of the UIS all-time rebound leaders. Maryville defeated Missouri-St. Louis at home 62-50, while William Jewell defeated non-conference foe Avila at home 74-59. Additionally, Indianapolis took an 83-44 win over Saint Joseph's on the biggest stage yet in Banker's Life Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers.

No. 24 Lewis pulled off a major upset with its 69-57 road win at No. 4 Bellarmine. The Flyers used a stifling defense to take the win, holding the Knights to a stingy 24.2% shooting. Lewis also forced a tie for first and second in the East with its win. Four others won on the road, as well, including Saint Joseph's at Illinois Springfield, Truman State at Maryville, Indianapolis at McKendree and Rockhurst at Missouri S&T. Missouri-St. Louis, Southern Indiana and No. 13 Drury were the other three taking home wins on the night. Drury also extended its win streak to a league-best eight games. Rockhurst's Mary Dineen was the evening's top scorer with 26, while UIndy's Nicole Anderson dropped 20 points and added 11 rebounds with four assists. Additionally, USI's Tanner Marcum impressed with 24 points, five steals and four assists.

Southern Indiana didn't just upset No. 24 Lewis, the Screaming Eagles did it in commanding fashion with a 20-point advantage at 85-65. Both Tanner Marcum and Kaydie Grooms notched 20 points in the win for USI. UW-Parkside gave No. 4 Bellarmine a tough run of things thanks to Brittney Fair's 25 points but ultimately fell 84-81 as all five Knights' starters scored in double figures. No. 13 Drury had no trouble with the second-best team in the West Rockhurst, winning by more than double at 94-43. Briana Jones came off the bench for the Panthers and dropped 23 points with nine rebounds. Also with at least 20 points was Maryville's Stephanie Sherwood, who scored 20 and added 10 rebounds to lead the Saints in a 59-51 win over Quincy. Missouri-St. Louis' Jordan Fletcher carried the Tritons with 27 points and 20 rebounds in a 67-58 win for a third-place tie with the Bulldogs in the West. One other with 21 points was Saint Joseph's Kalea Parks, who couldn't quite help the Pumas over the McKendre hump, as the Bearcats won 63-54 at home. Elsewhere, Missouri S&T beat William Jewell 62-52, while the only team to win on the road Saturday was Indianapolis, as both Nicole Anderson and Montanez tallied double-doubles in the 71-53 win.
