Missouri-St. Louis came up with its fourth win in a row and second straight upset over a ranked opponent, beating No. 17 Bellarmine, 58-57, on a buzzer-beater basket from Jordan Fletcher. With its loss and Lewis' win over Quincy, Bellarmine (19-5, 11-4 GLVC) fell to third in the East while the Flyers (20-5, 12-3) rose to second. No. 20 USI (21-4, 13-2) was able to bounce back from Thursday's loss to defeat Maryville on the road and maintain its first position atop the East. Drury, the other ranked league team was able to come away with a win Saturday, while Rockhurst picked up a big win over Indianapolis on the road to keep a comfortable second-place position in the West (16-7, 10-5). Both William Jewell and Truman State aso posted road wins that afternoon. Lewis and Missouri S&T were the other two teams collecting victories to close out the week.
