ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Four teams have advanced to tomorrow’s final match of the 2017 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championship Tournament at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri, which had been extended by a day due to inclement weather.
Both Indianapolis and Drury have advanced on the men’s and women’s side and will meet in the finals Monday. No. 1 East Indianapolis and No. 3 West Drury are set to play for the women’s crown at 9 a.m. CT, while the #1E seed Indianapolis will square off against the #1W seed Drury for the men’s title at approximately 12 p.m.
The UIndy women topped Lewis 5-2 on Sunday, while Drury’s women beat Missouri-St. Louis 5-4 in a match that lasted almost five hours. The Greyhound men swept Rockhurst 5-0, and the Panthers defeated Lewis 5-1.
The GLVCSN will stream live and free coverage of both the No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles play in the championship finals on the stadium court at Dwight Davis.
