The top eight institutions in the conference standings shall compete in a single elimination tournament. Play will begin with 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, and 4-5 with 1, 2, 3, and 4 hosting the first round on Sunday, following the weekend that conference league play concludes. The highest remaining seed following the quarterfinal round will host the semi-finals on the following Friday and final on Sunday. If the highest remaining seed is unable or unwilling to host, the next highest remaining seed able and willing shall host.
The conference standings shall be designated on the basis of the best percentage of games won in competition with other member institutions. Ties in the standings shall be settled by: (Multiple teams tied see 1.c.5)
- Head to head competition
- Head to head competition with the remaining institutions in order of standing, and
- Goals for minus goals against in conference competition, with a 4 goal maximum differential per game.
