The 2011 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Tennis Championship will be hosted by Northern Kentucky University on April 22-23. The 2011 event marks the 33rd annual GLVC Men's Tennis season.
The top four teams based on highest divisional winning percentage from each of the GLVC's two divisions earn a spot in the eight-team GLVC Men's Tennis Tournament. The event is single elimination with a third-place and championship match conducted on Saturday.
Bellarmine (8), Drury (4), Indianapolis (7), Northern Kentucky (5), Rockhurst (1), Southern Indiana (5) and former league-member SIU Edwardsville (2) have all claimed GLVC Men's Tennis Championshps. Bellarmine holds the most crowns with eight and last won the title in 1995-96.
Last year, Drury won its fourth GLVC Men's Tennis Championship in the past five seasons by topping Southern Indiana in the championship match, 5-0.
